Note the spelling of Kansas as "Kanzas." This noted as the "Northwest Sheet,"
and is evidently one part of a larger, four-page map.Portions of the two
future states are shown in their territorial format.

Kanzas extends to the Rocky Mountains, and Nebraska reaches the Canadian border.
Territories of Indian tribes are also noted, as are the Santa Fe and Oregon trails.
