Victor Beals
Born February 20, 1895 in Wuhu, China, Beals lived his professional life in Tuckahoe, New York. He studied with American painter Albert Henry Munsell (who developed a standardized color system and published his Color Atlas in 1915), and at Vesper George School of Art. Beals specialized in travel advertising art for Italian Line, Furness, Ward, Puerto Rico and American Express Co.
