William Gibbons, Philadelphia, 1792
First American Edition

A reasonably scarce item, this is a nice copy of one of the wellsprings of feminist philosophy.
Our Master English Bookbinder has replaced the endpapers and added a new, rebacked leather spine overlaid with the original. The original boards are showing bumped corners and scuffed boards, and there are foxed pages throughout. The copy is housed in a padded clamshell case made by our bookbinder.
